Environmental and Economic Concerns

Dear Mr. President,

Congratulations on your victory. I am positive that this country has made the right decision in electing you as our next president. I have faith in your abilities to lead us through these tough economic times and toward a brighter future. During your presidency, I would like to see American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan brought home, more job opportunities created to help ease the troubled economy, and a much greater effort to protect our environment.

Dear President…

Dear President Obama,

There are three issues that are important to me; the war against terror, helping the poor, and gay rights.

Dear Mr. President Obama,

We, as a country, need change. Of all the people I can think of I believe you know that more than anyone. The way that we have destroyed our economy and the economy of other countries needs to change. Our own troops slowly have been sinking into a mess faster than quick sand. What are we going to do with Iraq? Are we ever going to get out of there without leaving a mess that no one wants to clean up? We need to correct a few things in America and I think that you can do that.

The Issues

Dear President Obama,

If you haven’t noticed, this country has many issues. I am writing to you about the issues that concern me most. These problems are abortion, the lack of money in schools, and the negative affects of war. I hope you take the time the address these issues, for I am sure many other people have the same concerns as me.

Well, first of all, I would like to take the time to tell you about abortion. In my opinion abortion is wrong. Honestly, I think that abortion should be outlawed. It is the act of taking the life of another human being. I mean, if murder is illegal, shouldn’t abortion also be illegal? I also think that people should learn from their mistakes instead of taking the easy way out.

Next, Mr. Obama, I feel there should be more money in schools. The money could be used to help art programs in schools. There are many talented students who need a chance to show off. Also, let’s face it; school food has no nutritional value what so ever. More money could help bring healthier food to the starving youth of our nation. Finally, better educational tools could help lead to improving test scores from students across the nation.

The last issue I would like to address is war. I think the war in Iraq should be stopped. This would teach future generations to solve problems peacefully. Also, there wouldn’t be so many people in America losing loved ones who are soldiers. America would become, overall, a more positive country.

So, as you can see, I have some concerns that I am very sure other people have as well. I think if you solve these problems as president, America would be a much better country.

Consider this

Dear Barack Obama,

I’m really strong minded about some of this stuff. And honestly I do know what I’m talking about even though I’m young. I don’t like to find out too much information because I think politics can separate us from our own visions of things. I don’t like labels like Democrat or Republican because they categorize us. Everything bothers me about this world but not enough so that’d I’d express my opinion. I like to keep myself about this kind of stuff. But for this one time I’d like to tell you what’s on my mind and what I am thinking about. Abortion, oil, and immigration are concerns of mine.
